At the invitation of the Government of Nepal, Shri S.M. Krishna, Minister of External Affairs of India, will pay an official visit to Nepal from April 20-22, 2011. This would be his second visit to Nepal after assuming the charge of Minister of External Affairs. The visit is in keeping with the tradition of regular high-level interaction between the two countries.
2. During the visit, the Minister of External Affairs will call on the President and the Prime Minister of Nepal. He will also meet other political leaders of Nepal. He will visit Birgunj to lay the foundation stone of the Terai Roads Project and of the Integrated Check Post which are being constructed with Indian cooperation.
