Shri. B.C Pradhan, Consul General of India, Birgunj
Born on May 20, 1966, Mr.B.C.Pradhan began his schooling in Godavarish Vidyalaya, Odisha and graduated with Honours in Physics from Utkal University. He joined the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi in 1991. He has handled several interesting and challenging assignments at the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi and in Indian diplomatic missions in Tajikistan, France, Kyrgyzstan and the United Kingdom. He served as Charge d’ Afffaires, Embassy of India, Bishkek and participated in the Shanghai Co-operation Organization Summit meeting in December, 2012. He speaks Odia, English and Hindi and has knowledge of Russian, French and Bengalee.
He is married to Anita and they have two daughters: Eva and Chhaya and one son: Tushar.
